From SRK-Gauri to Priyanka-Nick, here’s how these celebrity couples met & began their love stories

Shah Rukh Khan & his wife Gauri Khan met at a common friend’s party in 1984 when the actor was just 18. Their first date was by the pool at Delhi's Panchshila Club, and it lasted for only five minutes.

Initially, when Kareena & Saif met, Kareena was a young girl while her elder sister Karisma was an actress. The now couple met for the first time on her sister’s movie set. Their love began in 2008 after they worked together in Tashan.

Alia had a crush on Ranbir ever since she was 11. She had met him on the sets of Black in 2005. However, their love story began when they started working in Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji which is yet to be released.

The couple met at a friend’s farmhouse in Delhi and chatted for seven hours. In an interview to a media house, Shahid had revealed that “the two never dated but only met three or four times” before they decided to get married.

Priyanka & Nick are outspoken and they had first met at the Met Gala in 2017. This is when they both walked the red carpet wearing Ralph Lauren. It was Nick who had messaged Priyanka Chopra on Twitter. According to the reports of NDTV, Priyanka had once said: “It was Nick who sent the first message, saying I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet."

Deepika and Ranveer had met for the first time in 2012 during an award show overseas. According to the reports of Bollywoodlife, Ranveer Singh had said: “The first time I saw her, I almost went flat! How can one possibly forget that sight?" However, deepika has a different first meeting that struck her. In an interview with Filmfare, she had said: "I was at Yash Raj and he was there and he was flirting like it’s nobody’s business. He was dating somebody else at this point, and I was smiling to myself and told him, you are flirting with me." It was after these meetings and the Bhansali films together when the duo decided to get married.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had kept her relationship with Anand Ahuja a secret for a while. As per reports, Sonam met Anand when she was busy with the promotions of her film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015. In an interview to Filmfare, Sonam had said: “I saw Anand and his friend. His friend was tall like me, liked reading like me and was a huge fan of Hindi movies. He was educated and a nice guy. But he reminded me too much of my brother Harsh (Kapoor). I was like, ‘Dude, he’s Harsh. I’m not going to date this guy.” However, they fell in love, got married in 2018 and are now expecting a baby together.

No they did not meet during a match or a shoot! This beautiful couple had met for a shampoo brand’s commercial shoot and thus began their love story in 2013.
