From Salman Khan to MS Dhoni: Celebrities who are close friends with Anant Ambani

One of India's richest persons, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita's youngest son- Anant Ambani is much in the news these days due to his upcoming wedding with his fiance Radhika Merchant. Anant Ambani is a graduate of Brown University, USA and he has been working as the Director on the Boards of Jio Platforms Limited from 2020, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited from 2022, and Reliance New Energy Limited and Reliance New Solar Energy Limited from 2021. He also works for the Reliance Foundation. Anant is quite passionate about animals and more recently he launched Vantara, his NGO for wildlife animals in Jamnagar.

Bollywood star Salman Khan and Anant Ambani seem to share a close bond and it is reflected in the way the duo bond in parties. For instance, during his first pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Anant was seen hugging and holding Salman Khan by his shoulder-- and this reflects their close friendship. Salman also performed at Anant-Radhika's pre-wedding in Jamnagar and he is also often seen at Ambani's parties.

The Ambanis are known for their love of cricket and Bollywood. So much so that they also own a cricket franchise, Mumbai India, in the IPL. Moreover, legendary Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is often seen at Ambanis' bash. In both the pre-wedding bash for Anant and Radhika, MS Dhoni was seen attending along with wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. He was also seen interacting with Anant and other Ambanis. This shows Dhoni's close bond with Anant Ambani.

More recently, Anant Ambani was spotted at Ajay Devgn's house. As per reports, Anant had visited Ajay to personally handover his wedding invitation to the actor-producer and his family. Ajay Devgn, who is rarely seen at events, had attended Anant and Radhika's first pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar. This shows Ajay and Anant's close friendship.

Businessman Bharat J Mehra also seems to be a close friend of Anant Ambani. He is often seen at the Ambani parties, and more recently in 2024, he gifted Anant a painting by MF Husain painting on the latter's birthday. The painting is on Socotra dragon tree wood and the picture, which was shared by Bharat on social media, had gone viral on the internet.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh too seems to be close to Anant Ambani. Ranveer had performed a dance number along with his wife Deepika in Anant-Radhika's first pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, while he also attended their second pre-wedding celebrations which was held on a cruise recently.
