Don't tolerate these deal-breakers in a relationship

Look out for these

A healthy relationship shouldn't comprise constant fights, disagreements, hurt and pain. It is a clear indication that something is wrong with the relationship. Some odd behaviours like excessive yelling, emotional abuse, dishonesty are sure telltale signs that your partner isn’t the one you are supposed to be with. And these odd behaviours can be known as ‘deal-breakers’ in a relationship. Hence, here listed are some deal-breakers that you should never tolerate in a relationship.

2/6

Emotional abuse

You should never have to face emotional abuse in a relationship no matter how much you love your partner or vice versa. A relationship is about accepting each other’s flaws, but not tolerating extreme disrespect and emotional torture.

3/6

Keeping the relationship a secret

Why is your partner so keen on keeping you a secret? If your partner doesn’t tell their family about you, even if things have gotten serious, then there may be a serious problem. You shouldn’t be treated like some sort of secret.

4/6

Having to compromise always

If your partner always changes plans at the last minute or always asks you to adjust according to his time and convenience, then it’s a clear sign that your partner doesn’t really value you. You shouldn’t be the one who has to change their schedule and time for your partner.

5/6

Fighting in a very derogatory way

If your partner fights ugly, even at the most minute matter, then consider it to be a huge deal-breaker. Yelling excessively or saying immensely hurtful or stupid things is not acceptable. But if your partner tries to hurt you by throwing around things or even resorting to physical violence, then run. IMMEDIATELY.

6/6

Big ego and selfishness

It is almost impossible to be with someone who has a big ego and is incredibly selfish. These negative traits can be too much to handle when a person can’t keep them in check. It’s alright to be a little selfish but if your partner is being over-the-top with his actions in the most atrocious way, then it may be time to reconsider your relationship.

If you spot such deal-breakers in your relationship, then analyse your relationship and make the right decision, even if it means leaving your partner whom you love.
