Here are some honest confessions of men

These confessions unveil the complex emotional journey of men who found themselves attracted to their female bosses. Here are some honest confessions of men who were attracted to their bosses where they share their struggles with burgeoning feelings and the delicate balance between career aspirations and unexpected romantic inclinations.

“ I couldn't help but think about her beyond the office”

I've always considered myself a professional, dedicated to my job and focused on my career. But, little did I know that my career would take an unexpected turn when I started working under my new boss. She was charismatic, intelligent, and had this incredible ability to lead with grace. It was not just her professionalism that got my attention, but the way she carried herself. I found myself attracted to her, and it took me by surprise.

At first, I thought it was just an infatuation. After all, it wasn't unusual to admire a supervisor. But as time went on, my feelings grew stronger. I couldn't help but think about her beyond the office. I would catch myself daydreaming about our interactions, her smile, and even her occasional praise for my work. It was a strange mix of admiration and attraction.

I knew the situation was complicated. Dating a superior, especially your boss, is a risky move. But the chemistry between us was undeniable. It wasn't just a physical attraction, but an emotional connection that seemed to transcend our professional roles. I often questioned whether I should act on my feelings or suppress them for the sake of my career. But eventually, I had to let it go and get a job elsewhere.

“We kissed and then she ended it”

My experience of being attracted to my boss, was a confusing and frustrating journey. She was not just a mentor but someone who inspired me daily. As time went on, I realised that my admiration for her had turned into something more.

I started noticing the subtle ways she would engage with me, the extra time she spent discussing projects, and the sincere compliments she would give me. It was hard to ignore the growing attraction I felt. I couldn't escape the thought that maybe, just maybe, there was something beyond the professional connection.

Eventually, when we were alone in the office lift, I did something that could have cost me my job. I asked her out of the blue if I could kiss her. To my shock, she kissed me hard and my mind was on fire. But after pulling away, she made it clear that this was something she wanted to do but would like to end it here because our jobs are important. After a month or two, she resigned and moved to another metro city. I later got to know she was getting married. But the beautiful part is, we have no regrets.

"We got married"

I never thought it could happen to me, but I found myself attracted to my boss, who was otherwise a scary woman for juniors. She was a brilliant leader but she came across as a very cold-hearted woman. I admired her strength and she would nail every meeting, and make even the client side do her bidding. But I had a very strong hunch that this was just a facade and that she was a softy inside that hard shell. I once saw her crying on the phone and from what I could hear from the conversation, she was being forced to marry someone in an arranged scenario. That somehow attracted me.

Over time, I noticed that I was more excited about going to work because of her presence. I would find excuses to engage in conversations with her, seeking her guidance and insights. There was an unspoken connection that I couldn't deny. I felt a magnetic pull towards her that went beyond the professional sphere. Then one fine day she opened up to me and there stood a vulnerable, soft woman who was just fighting hard to make her name in this unfortunate “man’s world”.

My attraction towards her was not physical but more emotional. I had vowed not to touch her until she said it. I became her friend, her support and she became mine. She was my agony aunt and I was her shoulder to cry on.

I knew the risks involved in pursuing any romantic involvement with my boss. It could lead to awkwardness, and conflicts of interest, and potentially damage my professional reputation. But the attraction was hard to ignore.

I shifted to another workplace, somewhere near the building of this previous one and then I pursued her, spoke to her parents, won her over and it has been a beautiful journey so far. We got married 2 years ago and are expecting our first child soon.
