Finding time for sex and intimacy in joint families can be pretty difficult considering the married couple is surrounded by everyone most of the time. The space crunch can be really bothersome if a newly married couple is looking for ways to get intimate between the sheets. But, where there’s a will, there’s always a way. “It may seem like the worst place to have sex, but my wife and I just can’t help it. There are only 3 rooms in our home and within one, my sister, wife and I take a good night’s rest. But, whenever my wife goes down the hall to the study room (it’s filled with books and dusty newspapers), I secretly tip-toe to the room in the middle of the night to get intimate with her. It’s the only way we can have sex.”

“My wife, brother and I come from a small town and hence, we took up a small rented room in the big city, while my younger brother studies in his college and I take up the job of a sales operator. With my brother in the same room, it’s very difficult to have sex with my wife. We almost never get some alone time, except for when I ask my brother to go out to get groceries or meet some friends. It those precious moments when I can get intimate with her.”

“As a housewife, I do the daily chores in my in-laws’ home and so, I hardly ever get time to tend to my desires. My husband leaves for office early in the morning and comes home by 7 or 8. I get so tired of working the entire day that I don’t even have the energy or mood to get on it at night.
