‘Anything for clout’: Netizens shocked as Karoline Leavitt is seen partying with Khloe Kardashian's cheating ex

Khloé Kardashian fans were taken aback after spotting her cheating ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, attending a wedding alongside White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.


Podcast host Alex Bruesewitz, 28, married former Miss Nevada Carolina Urrea, 31, at Trump’s Doral Golf Course on Saturday, January 31. The guest list featured several prominent MAGA figures, including Karoline Leavitt.




Photos from the wedding circulated on Instagram, but one image in particular caught fans’ attention. Donald Trump’s special assistant, Margo Martin, shared a picture showing herself smiling beside Tristan Thompson, with Karoline Leavitt standing on the other side of the NBA player.


Karoline, 28, cradled her baby bump in a fitted pink dress with a tie detail at the side. She completed the look with matching pink lipstick and styled her hair in a half-up, half-down look.

A screenshot of the photo soon made its way to Reddit, where a Kardashian critic reposted it and called out Tristan for socialising with Karoline. The post quickly drew strong reactions from users.


One Redditor wrote, “He’ll go or do anything to give him clout ( aka dating Khloe when she’s probably not his type and kissing A*s of the Kardashians and now this..)... I don’t think he’s ever had an extremely great moral compass..”


Another added, “not surprised, he’s been cozying up with the republicans at the White House for months now.”

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandals

Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian’s relationship has long been overshadowed by a series of cheating scandals that unfolded publicly. The first major controversy emerged in April 2018, just days before Khloé gave birth to their daughter, True. Footage and photographs surfaced showing Tristan kissing and spending time with other women, triggering widespread backlash. Despite thus, Khloé stayed with him.



The second scandal erupted in February 2019, when Tristan was accused of kissing Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s then–best friend. Khloé ended the relationship soon after, expressing heartbreak while also asking the public to stop harassing Woods.


The final blow came in late 2021, when court documents revealed that Tristan had fathered a child with fitness model Maralee Nichols while he was still involved with Khloé and pursuing reconciliation. A paternity test later confirmed he was the father. The revelation was particularly painful as Khloé and Tristan had already begun the surrogacy process for their second child at the time. Their son was born in 2022.

Since then, Khloé has maintained that she will not reunite romantically with Tristan, choosing instead to co-parent while keeping firm boundaries, bringing a definitive close to one of reality TV’s most scrutinised relationships.
