Keep these things in mind to avoid a heartbreak

There are certain mistakes we make over and over again and let people break our hearts. Some of them, we realise over time but some come into light after several heartbreaks and unnecessary emotional rollercoaster rides. So, to save yourself from that torture, here are 5 tips to adhere by which may help you avoid heartbreaks.

2/6

Take charge of your happiness

You do want someone to cheer you up and be the sun to your moon but showing that you depend on them for it is bound to freak out anyone. You also give them the reins to control your happiness so why would you do that to yourself? Take charge, be responsible.

3/6

Choosing

Choose the right man, focus on what you will really need in the long run! You must be with someone who wants to give you time and on his or her own accord. Give your time to someone worth it!

4/6

Look for the common interests

Everyone has different interests so having many things in common is not always the scenario. O try to look for those 2-3 common interests so that you can bond over those. It could also be a simple coffee, a certain book, a game, a show, restaurant, etc.

5/6

Clarify some boundaries and laws

You do not have to be territorial, or aggressive. Set the law you want, how you want to be treated by being that person yourself.

6/6

Don’t ignore your values

The morals and values of a person have a lot of weight in taking any relationship forward. Check if he shares the same, what does he require, his wants and habits. This is important as it can rub on to your future together including parenting.
