Spirituality transforms people from within. It evokes a change in people that makes them want to follow a better path in order to become happy and optimistic people. Getting the inspiration to embrace spirituality either comes from within or by watching your idols advocate the same. Here are some popular Bollywood celebs who have been ardent believers in spirituality.

The popular actress had announced on Instagram that she would leave showbiz to dedicate herself entirely to spirituality. After feeling enlightened by the ‘teachings of Islam’, Sana decided to take this decision during the lockdown after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend Melvis Louis.

The actor is quite in tune with his spiritual side but reportedly Shahid had mentioned that he met his wife Mira through a spiritual organisation that he and his family are a part of. He is a strong believer and follower of Radha Soami Satsang Beas.

The late actor was considered to be one of Bollywood’s legendary actors but he left showbiz and decided to give into spirituality in 1982. He also changed his name to Swami Vinod Bharti and moved on to follow his spiritual path.

Sofia, known because of her Bigg Boss fame, left the glamorous world and left showbiz. She introduced herself as Gaia Sofia Mother after she mentioned that she has embraced spirituality and become a nun.

Model and actress Barkha Madan made her debut along with Akshay Kumar and Rekha in 1996. She was a popular actor in the television industry as well. But later she became a Buddhist nun and changed her name to Gyalten Samten.
