10 ways to celebrate the New Year at home with kids

2/10

New Year with kids

Despite being one of the slowest years for all of us, we have hardly got any time to sit back, relax and enjoy with our kids. So, why not celebrate the New Year's eve at home with your kids with these easy ideas.

3/10

Host a fancy dinner at home

Kids love to dress up. Ask your kids to get ready in their favourite dress and then have a fancy dinner in the comforts of your home. The dinner can be followed by a movie night or some board games.

4/10

Have a family slumber party

Take out all the blankets in the living room, set up a tent, put on your kid's favourite movie and have a lazy party with some popcorn and cake.

5/10

Create a bucket list

Though 2020 was full of terror and boredom, we are hoping 2021 will be full of adventures and joy. Sit with your kids and make a list of where all you will go on a family trip in 2021.

6/10

Arrange for a playdate

With no school and evening games, kids have really been missing their friends. Why not call your kid's best friend and arrange for a play date at home!

7/10

Have a dance party

So what if you can't go out? Turn your living room into a DJ floor and have a blast.

8/10

Play board games

Take out all the playboard games your kid owns and play them all one by one. You can keep small gifts for the winner of each game to make it more interesting.

9/10

Cook with kids

Kids love to help when you cook. Plan a menu with your kids and ask them to help you with cooking. Then enjoy the meal while watching your favourite movie.

10/10

Bonfire

The weather is perfect to set up a bonfire, have some cake and dance. So, what are you waiting for?
