Taylor Swift has a brother? How Austin Swift has been carving his own path

Taylor Swift is a name that needs no introduction. She is a global pop phenomenon with chart topping numbers, sold-out shows and fans calling themselves ' Swifites'.

But did you know, Taylor also has a brother named Austin Swift. He has been quietly building his life away from the spotlight. Very swiftly and steadily he has carved a niche of his own that's very different from his super famous sibling.

A creative on his own terms

Born in 1992, Austin Swift grew in a close-knit family alongside Taylor. Though music runs in the family, Austin chose a path of his own. His appeal grew more towards visual storytelling. He developed a keen interest in photography, behind the scenes and acting after studying films. Instead of leveraging the fame and status existing in the family, he chose to leanr the craft, taking up smaller roles and staying away from the limelight.

Joining the film world

Austin has several independent films to his credit and have been part of supporting roles showcasing his talent and work. While he has stayed away from limelight, he has been associated with his sister Taylor’s creative side. He starred in one of Swift’s music video. He also assists with production and creative decisions which allows him to collaborate with his sister.

It's family first for him

Though the siblings have different careers, they share a strong bond. He is her biggest cheerleader and supporting of all her momentous career breakthroughs. He maintains that balance to be present without being prominent. His approach and take on life is quite different, where he doesn’t think success have to loud.
