Important life lessons like privacy and nudity are something that kids aren’t taught when they’re young. However, this is one of the most important lessons every child needs to know. Dr Anuradha, who’s a parenting coach, has shared a video on social media talking about the same. She revealed how parents should be mindful while changing clothes in front of their kids.In the video, she said, “If your husband or wife are changing clothes in front of your young child, then they are making a huge mistake. And that’s why listen to what I have to say very carefully. Nudity and privacy are concepts that we need to teach our kids at the earliest. Most importantly, this is your first step towards arming them with defense against child sexual abuse. This is how you can become a cautious and responsible parent. Children under 6 are still learning what privacy and consent mean. When they see adults undressing, they may assume bodies are always open for viewing. This can blur important lessons about personal space and respect.” She further said, “Instead, model healthy privacy by dressing and bathing in your own space. Teach them that everyone adults and kids deserves privacy. Use these moments to talk about ‘private parts’ and body safety in age-appropriate ways. You’re not being ‘shy’; you’re teaching respect and boundaries early.”
