Elon Musk, who’s a tech entrepreneur has often made headlines for unique names of his kids. He is highly innovative figure who has gained so much popularity globally. In his biographical account of Musk, Techno Mechanicus, nicknamed "Tau," is revealed to be Musk and Grimes’ third child together, born in June 2022. Grimes stated that "Tau has a presence, he's really soulful, he's like a little Spock, he's definitely a Vulcan" but has kept other facts hidden for his own safety.

In 2021, he welcomed twins named Strider and Azure with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. The two names are very unique and won many hearts of the fans. The name Strider is linked with movement, exploration, and adventure and the name Azure is a reference to a blue sky with a meaning that defines "clearness and openness.”

Griffin and Vivian Jenna Wilson, born to Musk and Justine Wilson in 2004, are the couple’s first pair of twins. Griffin is derived from Greek mythology, signifying a lion-eagle hybrid, which is a sign of power, bravery, and protection. Vivian, which changed her name based on gender, means “full of life.” "Jenna" is a sign of fairness or purity, hence she has adopted her mother’s last name, Wilson, and has publicly disassociated with Musk.

Exa Dark Sideræl, who is also known as “Y,” is a child born to him and Grimes in 2021 through a surrogate mother. The child’s name, Exa, is a reference to a supercomputer, which is known as a computer with massive power, while “Dark” is a reference to dark matter, a component that is yet to be identified in the universe.

X Æ A-Xii, who was born in 2020 to entrepreneur Elon Musk and singer Grimes, has the most non-traditional name in pop culture circles. The significance of “X” denotes an unknown variable, “Æ”, which is pronounced as “Ash”, is a marker of artificial intelligence, and “A-Xii” is short for Archangel 12, which is a precursor to the SR-71 Blackbird aircraft. Elon made headlines after he revealed the name of his first child with Grimes.

It seems that “Nevada” is a state that is very expansive in terms of territory, with a lot of possibilities, while the name “Alexander” means “defender of men.”Sadly, Nevada did not survive past the age of 10 weeks.

In September 2024, a child was born to Musk and Ashley St. Clair, which St. Clair confirmed in February 2025. The child’s name is not revealed, with St. Clair clarifying that she chose not to make the child’s details public in order to ensure that the child is safe.
