If you have ever seen a picture of Krishna, you have probably noticed one thing besides his bright smile and peacock feather, his flute! It’s almost like the flute is part of who he is. But have you ever wondered, why does Krishna carry a flute? Krishna wasn't just a powerful god, he was also the most playful, charming, mischievous boy you could ever imagine. And for someone like that, a flute wasn’t just an instrument. It was a little stick of happiness!Long ago in Vrindavan, where Krishna lived as a child, life was simple, joyful, and full of cows, forests, rivers, and lots of friends. Krishna spent most of his day playing outside. And guess what he used to bring the whole world together? His flute! Whenever Krishna played it, something magical happened.The cows stopped chewing, lifted their heads, and slowly walked toward him.The gopas and gopis would freeze in the middle of whatever game they were playing and sometimes forgot what they were doing because the tune felt like a soft hug.Even birds stopped chirping just to listen.
