Curiosity Corner: Why did Yudhishthira love truth even when it was hard?
The eldest of the Pandavas from the Mahabharata, Yudhishthira is remembered as the personification of truth and being righteous. Despite all odds, he chose honesty. The lies could have made his life easier or protected him but he chose what he believed in. How could he always choose the truth and it has made people always wonder. His honesty over choosing honesty over and easy way out is a powerful lesson to kids about values, courage and inner strength.
