The 30-year-old actress showed off her killer curves in a gilded bodice with a sheer-panelled crimson skirt. The top of the gown was woven with gold thread and embellished with rubies and emeralds. The low-neck gown had a massive train and sheer panelling running down her legs. Interestingly, she had left her hotel for the venue in a short robe.

Earlier in the week, blake had told an international fashion magazine that her dress for the Met Gala this year may be het favourite yet. “They’ve already worked on it for 600 hours, and it’s not done,” she had said.

She accessorised the outfit with over $2 million worth of jewellery, including a custom-made halo with over 100 carats of nude champagne diamonds, a pair of 30-carat Colombian emerald and diamond earrings, an armful of gold bracelets, three diamond and ruby rings, and her own engagement ring.

This year marked the actress’ ninth time at the ball.
