Kick scooters are amazing for exercises

As per reports, Pippa Middleton is seen riding scooters these days. English tabloids have been reporting extensively on Middleton's scooter rides with son Arthur.

The 38 year old sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton is seen riding scooter sporting jeans and trainers.

While Pippa Middleton is busy spending time with her son riding scooter, we are in awe of the socialite’s choice of physical activity and will discuss the various benefits of riding kick scooters.

Kick scooters are amazing for exercises. A simple kick scooter is two wheeled, has a handlebar and a deck. One needs to kick the scooter and use it on one foot. These are easier to ride, as these mostly require your balance.

Just like cycling, riding a kick scooter has several benefits on the human body. As per a study: Scootering is a feasible, functional, and fun activity that has the potential to address many aspects of fitness, function, and gait; meet the needs of families; and provide opportunities for interaction with friends. It is a physical therapy intervention that has the potential to contribute to future health and well-being of children with disabilities.

Weight loss

Riding a scooter will have an impact on your hamstrings and quadriceps, experts say. Core muscles, abdominal muscles and lower back muscles workout while riding a scooter.

Since it requires kicking, one will boost the leg strength.

Many fitness experts have said that riding a scooter gives more benefits to a human body than running, jogging and cycling do. While one hour of riding a kick scooter can burn 400 to 500 kilocalories, cycling burns 250-300 calories while running burns 350-400 calories.

Improves balance and coordination

With one leg you have to balance the deck of the scooter and with the other you have to kick the ground to move forward and while you are doing these both your hands should firmly balance the handle while your eyes watch the road. What else can guide your balance and coordination better than this?

It’s a fun activity

When we see actors and celebrities riding scooters on roads, or hilly terrain it looks so cool! This easy to do exercise is simply the most fun way to workout.

Riding a scooter where you need lots of concentration can be beneficial to physical and mental health.

This can be done as a fun activity. You can ride a scooter to your office or else ride on the footpath. Kids can ride scooters in a group during their play time.
