Looking for some refreshing beverages to keep you cool this summer? There is no way better to beat the heat and charge up mid-work by sipping on delicious cold coffee. But, cold coffee is best avoided by weight watchers as it can up your calorie intake way high. So why not explore trying different ingredients to shake up a range of delightful coffees at home and make them weight-loss friendly? ​​Cold brew:​


Cold Brewing is a method of brewing coffee where ground coffee beans are steeped in room-temperature water for more than 20 hours. Cold Brew is the coffee concentrate that you get after the brewing is complete. This brewing method takes the most amount of time - About 20 hrs give or take. But it is also one of the easiest methods of brewing coffee at home, very simple to do, and requires no equipment.
All one needs to do is steep coarsely ground coffee in water overnight with a ratio of 1:12 where 1kg of coffee is ground too coarse to 12L of water. You can keep this for 7-8 days in the refrigerator. You can also add some citric flavors and sweeteners to it if you want your coffee to be sweet.

​​Cinnamon coffee​


Your cup of black coffee or a straightforward espresso shot may become a fat burning potion with the addition of a pinch of cinnamon to it. By enhancing metabolic rate, the combination of caffeine and antioxidants in cinnamon can aid in accelerating the weight reduction process.

​Iced Americano​


This is also one of the easiest and simplest coffees you can try at home. Just take a glass and fill it with ice and some water. Top it with a double shot of espresso to finish. You can also add a dash of low fat almond milk and sweetener to it.

​​Lemon coffee​

Just adding 12 lemon juice and a dash of cinnamon to 1 cup of freshly brewed coffee will yield this beverage, which will aid in accelerating the fat-burning process. This beverage also helps to increase metabolic rate and flush out toxins from the body.

​​Milk-based Iced Latte:​


The Iced Latte is the perfect espresso drink to cool down with on a hot summer's day, it is a delicious combination of ice-cold low fat milk and rich, strong espresso.
You will need 45 ml Espresso, 150 ml low fat milk and 70 grams ice. Begin by filling your glass with ice. Pour cold milk over it and layer it with your double shot of espresso.
Stir it well and enjoy your beverage. If you are a person who likes to drink your coffee sweet you can add stevia to it. You can also add flavors like vanilla, caramel, or hazelnut for a nice twist to your iced latte.
