National award-winning actress Kriti Sanon is known for her healthy lifestyle and active fitness regime. From incorporating planks to treadmills, the actress has a unique addition to her workout and diet plan. Let’s take a look.
Kriti Sanon opts for a unique exercise variation that combines the benefits of traditional planks adding the challenge of stability and balance on a moving surface. It spices up her core routine and is an everyday must.
Not toned abs or muscle, but dancing sessions are Kriti Sanon’s favorite exercise. She has added dancing workout sessions 2-3 times a week. She is also a trained Kathak dancer but prefers jazz and freestyle or zumba during her sessions.
With the actress traveling around because of her work, the actress never stops her workout sessions and keeps on with her trainers inside her vanity taking up new fitness challenges.
Kriti Sanon starts with some warm-up exercises before starting with conditioning and strength moves. She first starts with a sprinter snatch, followed by a weightlifting exercise, which is good for her muscle mass and improves power and speed.
Focusing on her mental health, Kriti Sanon walks around her house, followed by yoga and mat workout sessions. She then has her meditation session which reduces anxiety, improves self-awareness, and also relieves stress.
Kriti Sanon performs the Swiss ball pullovers, a dynamic movement that also increases the strength of the upper body, including the back, shoulders, triceps, and chest.
To build strong core and shoulder muscles, Russian twists also help in mobilizing the knee joint but also open out the hips which release the knee, giving it some breathing space and strengthening at the same time.
Kriti Sanon’s breakfast includes oats, fruits, and eggs. She opts for grilled chicken or fish with vegetables and brown rice for lunch, whereas for dinner she usually involves salads, soups, or grilled vegetables.
Kriti Sanon will next be seen in 'Teri baaton mei esa uljha dia' alongside Shahid Kapoor. The film will hit theatrers on February 9, and is helmed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah.
