During her prime era, Katrina Kaif was known for her stunning six-pack abs. One of the fittest celebrities in the Bollywood industry, she is still one of the most talked-about topics in Bollywood when it comes to fitness and a toned physique. Let’s look into her diet and fitness regime.
Fitness to her means a healthy lifestyle driven by self-control and discipline in life. She drinks plenty of water, prefers eating healthy green vegetables, and stays away from sugar and carbs as much as she can.
Katrina hits the gym at least thrice a week and never misses out on her workout session. She prefers doing functional and weight training which increases her stability and helps her to maintain her toned body.
Her gym routine starts with a session of cardio, followed by pilates, TRC, and plyometrics. She is also an ardent fan of yoga and meditation and to attain mental peace she follows her routine precisely.
Katrina manages to head out for a walk or opt for jogging every morning. She practices planking, cycling, weight training, and running, and also indulges in trendy workout sessions which include kettlebells, bosu balls, power plates, and TRX.
According to her nutritionist, Katrina has a ‘pitta’ body which means she requires alkaline-rich foods to balance this out. Therefore, she starts her day with eight soaked raisins in the morning along with fennel seeds. She prefers having celery, cucumber juice, and ash gourd, nearly every day and has dates if she craves sugar.
The actress is a fan of soups and Asian cuisines and thus includes the healthiest option among the lot. She prefers having steamed fish, edamame avocado salad, lentils, and vegetable soups with drumsticks and broccoli.
The ‘Merry Christmas’ actress opts for healthy cereals and oatmeal for breakfast with egg whites and pomegranate juice on the side. For lunch, she prefers 100-gram rice, vegetables, legumes, and green salad, and alternatively, she has grilled fish or brown bread with butter.
For her evening snacks, she has brown bread with peanut butter or a vegetable sandwich. However, for dinner, she eats tons of greens including vegetables, vegetable soup, green salad, dal, and chapatis.
