According to Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, diet high in fruits may reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases. This comes as no surprise because we know fruits are powerhouse of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre and yet are considerably low in calories. All fruits have their own benefits but some stand out due to the unique health benefits they provide. Here is a list of healthiest fruits on earth on the basis of their nutrient component.

<p>This fruit is rich in three types of antioxidants including tannins, anthocyanins, and ellagic acid. Antioxidants are good for our body as they provide protection against free radical. Free radical can damage your body’s cell and increase the risk of diseases. Pomegranate is also rich in fibre (promoting digestion) and potassium.<br></p>
