Alia Bhatt's weight loss

We have seen Alia Bhatt’s transformation from Shanaya in 'Student of the Year' to her most recent portrayal of Vaidehi in 'Badrinath ki Dulhaniya'. In her latest appearances, Alia has been seen flaunting her fit and toned figure.

No crazy diet plan

We are well aware of the story where filmmaker Karan Johar asked her to lose 20 kgs for her first movie, but it was only in later stages that Alia started to look and feel healthy as well. In a social media session with celebrity nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar, Alia went on to speak about how she followed certain diets to keep herself thin and hence, gave up on foods which are healthy in the first place.

Basic diet

Alia follows a basic diet where she includes a six to seven meal plan. Her diet includes poha, eggs, and sandwich for breakfast. This is followed by healthy snacks such as peanuts or makhanas or fruits in between meals. For lunch, she has homemade food which contains dal, roti, chawal, and salad. For dinner, her favourite is curd rice. Post-workout she likes having saffron nimbu paani and coconut water.

Fitness regime

As per fitness, Alia is a keen follower of Pilates and is often seen on celebrity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala’s social media accounts. Her schedule typically includes stretching and strengthening exercises in combination with cardiovascular exercises. In many of her interviews, Alia has re-emphasized the importance of exercise to match up with your diet.
