5 ways Kareena lost weight after Taimur's birth

Things we learnt from Bebo's weight loss

Kareena Kapoor Khan is known to be unapologetic and unflinching. She flaunted her baby bump in style and the post-baby glow with equal panache. Her total transformation from a happy mommy-to-be into the diva she’s always been has caught everybody’s eye this year, especially the new mommies in line. Plenty have wondered how she continues to have a glowing skin and curves which are envy-worthy. Here are five things we learnt from Bebo’s weight loss in 2017:

2/6

Eat ghee

EAT GHEE: Along with celebrity nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar, Kareena has been seen advocating the philosophy of eating ghee. In a live web chat, the duo spoke about how ghee before, during and after pregnancy is essential. It isn't healthy only for the baby’s health but also for weight loss. “Anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, lubrication of joint, glowing skin, good fat for weight loss are some of the benefits of ghee,” said Rujuta.

3/6

Be regular with exercise

BE REGULAR WITH EXERCISE: Social media portals like Instagram are loaded with pictures of Kareena heading to the gym. Even during pregnancy, Kareena stuck to yoga. If you are a constant exercise junkie, shedding post-pregnancy weight will not be an issue since exercising can help keep our metabolism stay active.

4/6

No crash-dieting

NO CRASH-DIETING: In the live web chat with Rujuta, Kareena spoke about how she didn’t want to lose weight overnight. The Pataudi daughter-in-law practiced what she preached. Kareena took an entire year to get back into shape. Opting for crash dieting may give you temporary results but can damage your health permanently.

5/6

Stick to a regime

STICK TO A REGIME: Rujuta has always spoken about how disciplined Kareena is when it comes to her health and rightly so. If Bebo wouldn’t have stuck to a regime and been regular with it, she wouldn’t have lost weight in a sustainable manner. Usually, when we start our weight loss journey, we tend to hip-hop on different diets in a short span of time, thinking that this hit and trial method will help us. But sticking to a regime for a minimum of 21 days can only determine its effectiveness.

6/6

No junk

NO JUNK: Kareena has been vocal about how she tends to eat on time and hence, does not feel the need to binge on food, something her co-stars agree with. Erratic meal times can make us splurge on unhealthy foods and ruin our weight loss frequently. If you want to stick to your weight loss diet, start eating on time and you will stay clear of junk.
