Sneaky ways you can get a UTI

These reasons cause frequent UTI's

Women are more susceptible to develop frequent urinary tract infections due to their physical anatomy as they have a short urethra. Drinking water will cause frequent urination. And that is advantageous. By doing this, you wash the bacteria out before they have a chance to take hold. But not guzzling enough H2O isn’t the only reason you get UTI’s often, here are some more reasons:

2/6

Wearing inappropriate undies

While a thong, teddy, or string bikini may make you feel seductive, they can trap bacteria in the vaginal area and squeeze the delicate tissue there, increasing your risk of developing UTIs and vaginal infections. Cotton panties are supposed to soak up excess sweat and vaginal mucus preventing the bacterias from thriving down there.

3/6

You have a desk job

People who lead an active lifestyle are less likely to get a UTI. Nerves, uterine connective tissues, and vaginal muscles are all impacted by being a couch potato. If you have a desk job, try taking frequent breaks and get moving.

4/6

The incorrect method of wiping

Much advised method of wiping after a bowel or urine movement from front to back exists for a reason. Wiping from back to front often acts as an invitation for bacteria from anus to your vagina tissues. It can facilitate the passage of bacteria from your anus down your urethra and into your bladder.

5/6

You consume a lot of sugar

You run the danger of feeding the bacteria that cause UTIs a feast anytime your sweet hunger strikes because they enjoy eating sugar. You might find some of that sugar in your urine if you consume a lot of added sugars and experience a significant spike in your blood sugar. Drinking too much coffee, alcohol, and munching on chocolate, can irritate your sensitive urinary system and worsen an already present UTI.

6/6

You don't pee after sex

You shouldn't be scared from getting some action because you might acquire a UTI. Yet doing so doesn't mean you should patiently let the afterburn from sex affect you. One easy approach to reduce your risk of a UTI is to use the restroom after your play under sheets. You might remove the bacteria that may have gotten into your urinary system by flushing.
