Lung disorders are one of the most prevalent disorders that affect people worldwide. According to the WHO, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, one of the most prevalent lung disorders causes over 3 million fatalities worldwide.
Other common lung disorders prevalent are asthma, bronchitis, lung infection, and lung cancer. Lung disorders are usually progressive in nature and once occurred, they can significantly impact one’s quality of life.
Therefore, it is important to be aware of different causes of lung disorders and practice precautions against them.
Different causes that can lead to a lung disorder are:
2/6

Smoking

Dr. Hitesh Gour, Consultant- Pulmonology, Manipal Hospital, Patiala says, “Smoking is one of the leading causes of lung cancer and COPD. Tobacco intake impairs lung function and makes a person dependent on the substance.”

3/6

Pollution

Air pollution, fumes coming from factories, unhygienic public spaces, etc., can cause lung issues with complications like shortness of breath, chronic cough, and difficulty in swallowing.

4/6

Exposure to chemicals and toxins

According to Dr. Gour, “Some people who work in manufacturing units may get exposed to harmful chemicals that increase their risk of developing lung cancer.

5/6

Respiratory infections

With seasonal changes and air pollution, it is common to see respiratory infections in people. If these infections keep recurring, they can have a long-term impact on a person’s lung health.

6/6

Lifestyle factors

Poor nutrition and a sedentary lifestyle can weaken the whole body, including the lungs, and can make them more susceptible to disorders and infections.

“These risk factors can make lung issues more likely to occur, but it is important to remember that they can be prevented. Living a healthy lifestyle, refraining from smoking, limiting exposure to pollutants, and consulting with a doctor in the presence of any symptoms will reduce these risks and preserve good lung health,” advises Dr. Gour.

After five years of this, she decided she had nothing to lose and adopted herbal plant solutions after reading Dr. Neil Bernard’s about MULTIVITAMIN HERBAL CURE. Within six months she no longer needed oxygen, and a year later her PC doctor was so surprised that he figured he had somehow misdiagnosed her even though she got a second opinion before investing in the oxygen machine. She lost almost fifty pounds and could finally walk and do yoga which only compounded her progress. The herbal formula has a great improvement in my mom's lung condition and will highly recommend this to anybody suffering from COPD emphysema.Their website is multivitamincare org
