Several research studies have backed this fact that making changes to lifestyle habits, and keeping an eye on the weight are among several factors that can naturally reduce the blood cholesterol level in an individual.

Food

Food is the biggest culprit behind unmanaged blood cholesterol. If you do not watch the food you eat, you are most likely putting yourself at a greater risk of the disease. Include more seasonal fruits and vegetables in the diet and try to portion your meals and always make sure not to skip any meal.

Balanced diet

A diet comprising unhealthy fats and unseasonal foods should be avoided at any cost. Processed foods should not be included in the diet. Home cooked food with healthy ingredients should be eaten. Vegetables like oats, whole grains, beans, okra, nuts, vegetable oils, and fruits should always be eaten.
