The symptoms of COVID-19 may appear similar to the common cold and flu, but the virus has a severe impact on our health. Even though deadly coronavirus leads to infection in the upper respiratory system, its symptoms are quite diverse and can be witnessed in several other parts of the body. From fever and nausea to gastrointestinal issues and loss of smell, this contagious virus isn't in any manners easy to deal with. And if you are a victim of severe infection you may have to deal with these symptoms for quite a long time. The road to recovery from COVID-19 can be tough and many times you would wonder if you are on the right track. Here are some common symptoms that you may experience, which are completely normal.

4/7

Insomnia

COVID can also disturb your sleep cycle, leaving you to toss and turn all night in your bed. This could be basically due to stress and anxiety caused due to the deadly infection. Practise healthy sleeping habits or talk to your doctors about sleeping pills.

5/7

Loss of smell or taste

Loss of smell and taste is an initial symptom of coronavirus. Though the sense of smell and taste return after 14 days, sometimes it may take longer. It is recommended to smell different things in a day to improve your sense of smell.

6/7

Cough

As coronavirus targets the respiratory system, it may even lead to dry cough, which may persist long after the infection. Take steam and talk to your doctor for some medication.

7/7

Dizziness

Weakness can also make you feel dizzy. Brain fog and confusion in some cases of COVID-19 lingers for a long time post-recovery. Have patience and take less stress.
