Body-shaming is one of the cruelest victimizations that women still have to go through every now then and this was proven again with ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ actress Aahana Kumra being shamed for merely posting a photograph in bikini! And that too, at a beach!
The actress was in Australia to attend Darwin International Film Festival and to have a brief vacation. She posted her pictures on Instagram showing her time at a beach.
Then came a flood of body shamers giving out unasked advice asking her to go to the gym to reduce belly fat. Some said, “Pet thoda kam karo”, while others asked her to go to gym.
Seems like Aahana didn’t make a deal out of the trolls as she continued posting photographs of her trip. However, the caption that she gave to her next post was a minimal comeback, asking a rhetorical question, “Do we shape the world? Or does the world shape us?
