Crash Diets:

Everyone wants to look your best therefore, they start eating little to lose weight. We are unaware that food is energy and that hair needs energy to grow. We are depriving our hair of essential vitamins and nutrients such, which results in deficiencies.

3/7

Stress:

Living under stress has become the new normal for youngsters. A kind of hair loss called “Telogen Effluvium" causes hair to fall out rapidly over a brief period of time. It normally happens several months after your body has been under emotional or physical stress.

4/7

Pollution:

Pollution has been identified as one of the main causes of hair loss issues. Pollutants like smoke and dust can block hair follicles and change the pH balance of the scalp. Environmental factors also have a significant impact on hair loss and thinning.

5/7

Pregnancy:

Many people start a family in their 30s, and as we all know, pregnancy has a devastating effect on the body. Your hair will most likely be impacted by the hormones that flood your system, which have a variety of effects on you. Your hair cycle may be disrupted by elevated oestrogen levels, which could lead to thick, opulent hair during pregnancy and heavy loss afterwards. However, your hair will naturally bounce back and return to its regular cycle once your hormones have stabilised.

6/7

Poor lifestyle

Food has a significant impact on hair loss. A bad diet or one deficient in vital minerals like iron and protein can lead to hair loss. This could cause hair loss and significantly reduce your chances of growing new hair.
Hair loss may result from hairstyles that place excessive pressure or traction on hair strands. They typically harm hair follicles, which stops new hair from growing.
This is the age of late-night Netflix, gaming and endless scrolling of social media platforms. The sleep hormone melatonin is decreased by blue light from screens. Your body's natural regeneration processes, such as the turnover and restoration of hair follicles, are disrupted by poor sleep.
Smoking is a major cause of early hair loss especially in your 20s and 30s. Toxins in tobacco smoke hinder blood circulation, which lowers the amount of oxygen that reaches hair follicles. This weakens hair strands over time, slows down their rate of growth, and makes them more prone to breaking.

Lifestyle changes for healthy hair:

To take care of your hair in your 20s and 30s is to regularly and gently wash and moisturise your hair.
Steer clear of harsh styling methods and excessive chemical treatments that can harm your scalp over time.
Avoid excess sugar and crash dieting.
Eat balanced and healthy try to include food like eggs for biotin and protein, spinach for iron, nuts for omega 3 and vitamin c rich food for collagen products.
New moms, not to worry about hair loss because it will gradually go away as hormone levels return to normal.
