A Father's Day guide for healthy gifts

Dads keep busy round the clock and are always taking care of us, often putting their health on the backbench. As Father's Day approaches this Sunday, why not give him the biggest gift- one that will keep him healthy, happy and young at heart? If you are looking for some gifting options, consider these!

2/8

Copper bottles

Drinking water is key and it is essential to have a water bottle on you at all times. If your father travels a lot, consider gifting him a copper bottle and force him to ditch the plastic variants. Drinking out of a copper bottle or a utensil is not just healthy, it also helps you extract the right nutrients and vitamins from water. The antioxidants found in the copper mix with water to positively charge it and fight off infections too. It is definitely a healthy habit to adopt!

3/8

Fitness bands

To promote a healthy and fitness-friendly lifestyle, it is a good idea if you gift your dad a fitness band or a tracker this year. This way, the number of steps he takes will be in check and it will motivate him to get more physically active.

4/8

Workout gear or equipment

If your dad is focused about fitness and workouts regularly, gift him something thoughtful, which will aid his routine. Small, workout types of equipment (elliptical trainers, foam rollers or BOSU Balls) can make for a good Father's Day gift. You can also look into yoga mats and blocks, which again is a wonderful gifting option for those who have just started their yoga journey. You can also look into moisture-wicking workout wear as well.

5/8

Sunscreen

Dads are always on the move, aren't they? But most of the times, they hurry and forget how damaging the heat outside can be! Skipping something as essential as sunscreen can prove to be costly. So, why don't you do him a favor and gift him a good sunscreen? A good option would be to get one with a high SPF and UVV ray protectant.

6/8

A good pillow

Regardless of Father's Day, getting good undisturbed hours in the night is vital and makes you ten times more productive. However, a bad, wrung, bent pillow or mattress can stop you from getting enough shut-eye. Therefore, consider getting a good pillow for your dad. Memory foam pillow is a good one which protects the natural curve of the neck and the spine and relieves pressure, ensuring you sleep well.

7/8

Running shoes

Running shoes make for a great buy! It is also a good motivator for someone to get up and moving! The right running shoes are important for your running form, protect the heels of your feet and adjusts to the natural shape and lessen the chances of injuries from happening. Hence, it is important to invest in good running shoes. Your dad will thank you later.

8/8

Air-purifying plant

Pollution is all around us and the air quality is so bad, it is getting toxic to breathe every day and putting us at risk for so many chest and pulmonary disorders. Therefore, it is crucial to have something at home like an air purifying natural plant, which you can very well get at a nursery at half the cost of an air purifier. Some of the most helpful ones include aloe vera, snake plant, chrysanthemums, bamboo, English ivy which draw away the toxins and make you breathe easy!
