The mind's conductor

Copper's electric charm is revealed, revealing that this metal is a brain maestro as well as a useful material for vessels. Copper, a brilliant electrical conductor, may support normal brain function and give your hydration journey a cerebral component. Go for pure copper vessels and adhere to recommended practices for storing water. This not only ensures the preservation of health benefits but also mitigates potential risks of toxicity associated with improper usage

Iron absorption and haemoglobin formation

Beyond the known benefits, recent studies emphasise that drinking water from a copper vessel aids the body in absorbing iron efficiently. This, in turn, facilitates the breakdown of meals for haemoglobin formation, addressing crucial haematological concerns. Copper, a trace mineral often overlooked, plays a pivotal role in maintaining iron balance within the body.

Side effects of copper

While copper is essential for health, excessive intake can lead to side effects. High levels may cause nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Long-term exposure can result in liver damage. It's crucial to maintain a balanced intake and consult a healthcare professional if concerned. Moderation is key for optimal health.

Why is drinking water essential?

Drinking water is essential for keeping the body functioning properly and feeling healthy. Water makes up about 60% of the body weight and is involved in many important functions, including regulating body temperature, moistening tissues in the eyes, nose, and mouth, protecting body organs and tissues, carrying nutrients and oxygen to cells, lubricating joints, and flushing out waste products from the kidneys and liver. Every day, the body loses eight to 12 cups of water through breathing, perspiring, and urine and bowel movements, so it is important to replenish the body's water supply with beverages and food that contain water. Men need at least 12 cups of fluid daily, while women require a minimum of nine cups. Factors that increase fluid needs include exercise, hot weather, high altitude, a high-fiber diet, and increased losses from caffeine and alcohol intake. Adequate hydration varies from person to person, and a practical way to monitor hydration is by observing the color of urine.
