Baba Ramdev claims coronavirus can be treated with Giloy and Ashwagandha

With the number of coronavirus cases increasing rapidly, the race towards finding a treatment for the virus has intensified. From multiple trials being conducted every day by over 110 groups of researchers and medical companies from all over the world, we are yet not close to the development of the vaccine.

In a recent interview to a media house, the founder of Patanjali, Baba Ramdev claims that he has the treatment for the novel coronavirus. He even said that his medicine is 100 per cent effective.

Here are the two things that Baba Ramdev claims will work for the treatment of the coronavirus.

Baba Ramdev said that he can say it with full guarantee that corona can be treated with giloy and ashwagandha. According to Baba Ramdev, when coronavirus enters the body, it disturbs the entire system. The virus multiplies and infects more and more cells. Giloy is 100 per cent effective in breaking this chain of infection causing virus.

As per Baba Ramdev, giloy and ashwagandha have already been given to the infected patients and the rate of recovery in these patients was 100 per cent with death rate at 0 per cent.

Though clinical trials are still going on and we will get more clarity soon, according to Baba Ramdev, the research by Patanjali has been completed and soon their scientific research will be presented to the world.

Baba Ramdev also said that Ayurveda has the power to treat the deadly coronavirus. Not only can Ayurveda treat the symptoms but it can also treat the infection from its root.

Meanwhile, a group of scientists from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, in collaboration with AIST, Japan, have also found that Ayurvedic herb, ashwagandha may hold strong potential in fighting COVID-19.
