Sexual disease can spread in unusual ways

Sex and related activities are pleasurable but the bad news is that there are a variety of activities that we should refrain from to prevent the spread of STDs (STIs). Yet, certain sneaky STIs can spread undetected. Let's look at some of the items that are most likely to cause STIs and which you should avoid.

2/6

Kissing

There is one thing you must give up if you have a cold sore around your mouth. Kissing. By coming into contact with someone who has an open sore, oral herpes, commonly known as the Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 (HSV-1), it can spread. When a cold sore is present, oral sex should also be avoided in order to avoid acquiring HSV-1 in the vaginal region.

3/6

Sharing toothbrushes and razors

Sharing devices that can cut the skin with an infected person can lead to the transmission of bloodborne diseases. This comprises Hepatitis B, C, and HIV. You should never share needles and you should never use another person's razor or toothbrush to reduce the danger.

4/6

Contaminated food

Infected food or drink can spread hepatitis A, which can subsequently be transmitted to others through anal intercourse (contact with infected faeces). This is more typical in underdeveloped nations with subpar sanitation.

5/6

Skin-to-skin interaction

Physical contact with a wart can spread HPV, which can lead to genital warts. You should refrain from touching or rubbing against somebody who has a suspected sore because the early stage of syphilis infection is typically transmitted through direct contact with a Chancre or sore

6/6

And more..

Sharing grooming tools that can cut the surface of your skin with an infected person can lead to the transmission of bloodborne diseases. It is also preferable not to borrow or exchange used towels, washcloths, razors, underwear or swimsuits from others since these may play a factor in the infrequent nonsexual transmission of genital HPV.
