Certain basic pointers to take care during Summers Summers are setting in. Most of us avoid going out in scorching sun and it is in a way good as sunstroke can be harmful for health. Our air-conditioned offices too do take care of beating the heat. But if you are stepping out in the sun, here’s a quick summer checklist:
- Drink a lot of water, nimbu paani, coconut water and prefer green tea. But ensure that you don’t drink chilled water immediately after coming back from outside during day time.
- Apply sunscreen every two-three hours
- Avoid eating junk from vendors/outside as during summers, food infection risk is high
- Wear sunglasses is a thumb rule
- Cover your face and neck with a scarf or dupatta, if you are driving a two-wheeler. You should carry an umbrella if you are walking down to closeby place.
- Also, wear socks and hand-gloves to avoid tanning and sun-burns.
Few basic steps and you can enjoy the season!
