Balancing work and life: Our work is a reflection of the quality of life we lead on a daily basis. We need to pace ourselves for a productive long innings; life’s a marathon and not a sprint. I take a pause and recalibrate my balance. Quality time with family takes priority, especially playdates with my nephew (he is 5).
I also have quite an appetite for adventure and the outdoors.
One thing I always say no to: Don’t say no to anything. Nothing is in our hands, and at the same time, everything is in our hands.
Dare Quotient: Don’t be afraid of being different. Great things are, by their very nature, unique and unconventional.
Spiritual diet: A periodic digital detox - disconnecting from our wired digital routine — helps clear the clutter.
Tackling life challenges: I think there is no way you can either stop challenges or find correct solutions for all of them. The only way to tackle challenge is to change your perspective towards the so-called ‘challenges’ life presents to you.
De-stress mantra: Believe in the power of now!
The song I like to hum: Come Fly with Me by Frank Sinatra
A book that means a lot to me: A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle
A movie that moved me: Life is Beautiful by Roberto Benigni
