Easy way to make Choco Lava Cake

Do you also crave something sweet and hot at midnight during winter months? If yes, then this homemade Choco Lava Cake will surely satiate your taste buds. Made with simple ingredients like chocolate, butter, eggs, and flour, it's surprisingly easy to bake and makes perfect for late-night cravings. It is best served warm with ice cream or berries. Ingredients required



100 gms dark chocolate, 100 gms unsalted butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 2 whole eggs, 1 egg yolk, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt

Step 1



First of all, in a bowl, melt chocolate and butter together using a double boiler or microwave (30 seconds at a time). Stir until smooth.

Next, take the melted chocolate and start adding it to the egg mix, whisking continuously. Also, add flour to it, using cut and fold technique.

Now, take egg whites and yolks in a bowl and whisk along with sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

In the meantime, grease 4 ramekins or small cups with butter and lightly dust with cocoa powder.

Pour the batter into the cups and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes.

Let them cool down, invert onto a plate, dust with some powdered sugar, and serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
