At the heart of Swarn Prasadam is 24-carat edible gold, meticulously layered and polished until each bite gleams like jewellery. Unlike gold foil used for decoration, this version incorporates Swarn Bhasma, or gold ash - an Ayurvedic ingredient that has been used for centuries and is believed to enhance vitality and immunity. Jain calls it a meeting of taste, health, and heritage. Every portion is coated in gold, accented with silver leaf, and crowned with saffron, pine nuts (chilgosa), and rare dry fruits. Each piece costs around ₹3,000, and it’s presented in a jewellery-style box, because, truly, what else could contain it?
