This is world's largest Gujiya weighing 6 kg and measuring 25 inches
When it comes to Holi, Gujiya is always considered as an integral part of the celebration. And this year, Lucknow-based Chhappan Bhog celebrated this Holi sweet in a totally different manner by creating history by entering into India' Book of Records for making the world's largest Gujiya, weighing 6 kg and measuring 25 inches
As per ANI, Chhapan Bhog has been credited with the title of making the largest Gujiya by an organization and they have named it Baahubali Gujiya.
As per the report, Pramil Dwivedi, the official Executor of the India Book of Records confirmed that Chhappan Bhog has been enlisted in the record book for making the largest gujiya in the world. It is reported that nobody has ever produced such a massive gujiya before.
As per Kshitij Gupta, the marketing head of the popular sweet shop, gujiya is a symbol of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, India's culture, which signifies the culmination of the diversity present in the society. This special gujiya is made with khoya, flour, dry fruits and saffron.
For the unversed, gujiya is a deep-fried sweet snack made with refined flour, ghee, oil, mawa, dry fruits, powdered sugar, saffron, and sooji. These days it also comes in baked form, which is loved by weight watchers a lot.
