Arvind Kejriwal's love for food

We all know that Aam Admi Party (AAP) won the Delhi assembly election with a clear mandate and this resulted in a lot of buzz around the lifestyle of party president and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In a recent interview to a news channel, the joyous Kejriwal opened up about his love for food, cooking and his favourite place in Delhi, where he spends time with wife and kids over a scrumptious meal.

His love for Chinese food

In an interview to a news channel, he mentioned his love for Chinese food and the joint in CP where he loves to dine with the family. He said, “I and my wife go for lunch to Taste of China on our birthdays and anniversary.” You will be surprised to know that before assembly elections, keeping his love for Chinese food persuaded a Delhi-based restaurant to start ‘Kejriwal Chinese Thali’, as a tribute to his hard work in last 5 years.

His love for Golgappa

In the interview, he mentioned his love for golgappa and accepted that he recently ditched the security system and went to relish golgappa at Kamla market with his wife.

Aloo paratha and jalebi

When it comes to main course, Delhi’s Chief Minister loves to eat paratha, curd and pickle and has a sweet tooth for piping hot jalebi.

He can cook too!

While we are only aware of his professional skills of managing the capital city in the capacity of a Chief Minister, he recently revealed that he is quite a pro in the kitchen as well. He mentioned that he can cook perfect roti, aloo ki sabzi and his favourite aloo paratha as well.

His love for healthy food

Keeping his health factor in mind, he avoids spicy food and mostly indulges in homemade food. If reports are to be believed, he also loves moong dal khichdi, dry fruits and low sugar foods.
