Yes, you read it right, the bylanes of Chavhata, Old Nashik is blessed with the 90-year-old Sitabai, who has been running ‘Sitabai Misal’, for last 70 years and is known for her authentic Misal Pav recipe. Why Sitabai sells Misal Pav?

For Sitabai, selling Misal Pav came as a necessity, when her husband suffered paralysis attack and the financial stress left her with the only option to use her cooking skills to earn the livelihood. USP of her Misal Pav

Those who have been visiting her shop for years feel that the change of Misal Pav has not changed over the years. She is known for her traditional style Misal Pav, which she makes on mud chulha lit by coal and uses cow dung cake and wood. She starts preparing the dish early morning and makes sure that every ingredient goes in the right quantity.
