How to boost weight loss and immunity

Shilpa Shetty is known for her fit looks and healthier life choices. The 50-year-old actress swears by yoga, exercises, and a disciplined diet which she follows diligently to look and feel a certain way. In several interviews, she has talked about her morning routine and diet choices that she makes for a healthy and energetic beginning of the day. Here we have listed 5 morning ritual lessons that one can learn from Shilpa Shetty to lose weight and boost immunity.

2/6

3-ingredient blend

As per the interviews, Shilpa's morning ritual includes a 3-ingredient blend made with haldi, ghee, and pepper. All three ingredients are rich sources of nutrients and are even Ayurveda-approved for a healthy lifestyle. Turmeric contains curcumin, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that is helpful in boosting overall metabolism. As per studies, one teaspoon of ghee every morning before breakfast can fulfill the calcium requirement. It is also good for strengthening bones and promoting weight loss. And consuming raw pepper on an empty stomach results in the release of hydrochloric acid by the stomach, which helps break down the protein. It also helps in cleaning the gut and intestines.

3/6

High-fiber breakfast

Shilpa Shetty is known for her diet and fitness routine. While she eats everything, she prefers to have a healthy beginning of the day with a high-fiber breakfast. As per her interviews, on days she has an early start, she prefers a high-fiber breakfast that is made with just four ingredients. It's a one-bowl dish made with 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 banana, 1 tbsp raw honey, and 1/2 cup raw oats. She blends it all and drinks it fresh.

4/6

Water and noni juice

In an interview, she once mentioned that her morning rituals include a glass of warm water with some noni juice. Noni also known as Indian mulberry is a tiny oval-shaped greenish/yellowish fruit, with a strong and bitter flavour, and pungent odour. To make the juice, wash 3-5 ripened noni fruits and cut them into small cubes, and then blend in a blender along with 1/2 inch ginger and 1 mint leaves sprig. Sieve and serve fresh. You can also dilute it by adding some water and consume immediately.

5/6

CCF drink

She also swears by her favourite CCF drink, which is made with carom seed, cumin seeds, and fennel seeds. It is good for weight loss and gut health. CCF helps stimulate Agni (digestive fire) without aggravating acidity. It relieves bloating, gas, and indigestion while promoting smoother digestion. It is also said that the trio supports natural detox by flushing out toxins (ama) from the liver, kidneys, and digestive tract, promoting internal cleansing.

6/6

Ghee and water

As per her interviews, she also starts her day with a morning drink of warm water mixed with ghee to boost her metabolism and support digestion. As per Ayurveda, ghee activates digestive fire (Agni) which helps the body absorb nutrients better and prevent bloating or acidity. It is also rich in healthy fats and butyric acid, which lubricates joints, supports flexibility, and promotes overall strength and stamina. The butyrate in ghee also nourishes intestinal cells, aiding smoother bowel movements and maintaining gut lining integrity.
