Last month, on March 1st, a low-intensity blast occurred at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, Karnataka, leaving several people injured. The mastermind behind this blast, Abdul Mathin Taha, and his accomplice, Musavir Hussain Shazeb, were absconding until their arrest today in the early hours of the morning by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). They were apprehended near Kolkata, where they had been hiding under false identities. This successful operation was conducted by the NIA team, with crucial support from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and state police agencies of West Bengal, Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala. According to reports, Abdul orchestrated the entire bombing plot and evaded law enforcement, while Musavir planted the improvised explosive device (IED) bomb in the cafe.
