Rahul Gandhi makes Cold Coffee at this iconic Delhi coffee shop
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is known for his love for food. From cooking jam to marmalade, he often shares his connection with food on his official social media account. As per the latest post shared on his Instagram, he recently visited the iconic Keventers shop in Delhi and he tried his hands at making cold coffee. As per the video, he also interacted with the owners of the iconic place that is known for its shakes.
On Thursday, he shared on X a video of this conversation during his recent visit to the store at Patel Nagar area. As per the video, the visit started with the shop staff offering to demonstrate how cold coffee is made. But the politician said, "No, I will make it."
In the video later, he is seen adding milk and ice cream to the electric blender, operating the mixer, and then pouring the drink into Keventers' signature bottle.
The Congress leader didn’t stop at just making coffee. He also shared a video of his interaction with keveneters's young founders, where he discussed the brand's journey, the legacy, and the challenges they have faced over the years. In the video, he can be seen praising businesses like Keventers for their contribution to India's economic growth.
“Play-fair businesses like Keventers have driven our economic growth for generations. We must do more to support them,' Rahul wrote on X.
When asked if he was considering investments, Rahul said, "No, I'm looking at Keventers, trying to make an investment decision.
The social media visuals have received positive responses. In the video, an elderly woman living in the same area even invited Rahil to her home, and while he assured her he would "come in for two minutes", she then realised she didn't have her key.
"How will this open then" she could be heard asking in the video with Rahul standing by her side. "No problem, I'll come next time," Rahul replied.
