Dips are a fun bite at any gathering. Use them with crudites, crackers, roasted vegetables or just as a spread on toast, they are easy to make and taste delicious, too. Savoury, spicy or sweet, these can be made as per your taste. Game night or party night, these are a must have at the buffet table. If hummus is all you know, there’s so much more to choose from. A popular recipe has been the avocado dip. It’s made by just blending avocado with lime juice and cilantro. You can also prepare a healthy beetroot dip by blending with cooked beetroots with roast walnuts, lime juice, olive oil salt and pepper. Food expert Priya Bhrujal shares two other layered party dips.

Seven-layer Mexican dip which has layers of Mexican beans, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, scallions, tomatoes and olives.
Greek dip
The white one is a five-layer Greek dip which has layers of authentic hummus, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce and olives.
