Sabudana Khichdi
Sabudana Khichdi is a classic vrat recipe, made with soaked sago pearls, boiled potatoes, and peanuts. Take 1 tsp. ghee and sauté cumin seeds, peanuts, and green chilies. Toss the sabudana pearls and season with sendha namak.

Vegetable Upma can make for a healthy meal, which can be made with semolina or millets.To make this dish, sauté mustard seeds, curry leaves, and your choice of vegetables in ghee and add the roasted semolina.
