Pick the naan of your choice and pair it with curries for the perfect meal. The below-given recipes will give you restaurant-style naans which are not only easy to make but are also delectable.

2/4

Garlic Naan

Ingredients required- 1½ cup maida, ¼ tsp baking soda, ½ baking powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp chopped coriander, ¼ cup curd, 2 tsp finely grated garlic and salt as per requirement.

Method

  • Add maida in a bowl, along with salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix the dry ingredients well.
  • Now add oil, 1 tsp garlic and yoghurt. Knead to form a dough. You can also add water as per the requirement. Cover the dough and let it rest for an hour.
  • Make small balls from the dough, use a rolling pin and flatten them out. Grease the naan with water and flip on the tawa.
  • Let it cook for a minute and then flip the tawa. Cook the naan directly on the flame until done. Make naans from the leftover dough.
  • Now mix melted butter, 1 tsp garlic and chopped coriander. Grease this mixture on the prepared naans and serve.

Chilli Cheese Naan

Ingredients required- 1 cup flour, ¼ tsp dry yeast, ¼ tsp powdered sugar, 1 tbsp curd, 1 tbsp ghee, ½ cup cheese, 4-5 chopped chillies, 2 tbsp coriander and salt as per taste.

Method

  • Add yeast, sugar and 2 tbsp water in a bowl. Mix and keep it aside for five minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, add flour, yeast mixture, curd, ghee and salt in a bowl. Knead to form a dough. Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Prepare the stuffing by mixing cheese, chopped chillies and coriander.
  • Make small balls from the mixture and use a rolling pin to flatten them out. Stuff the prepared cheese mixture and roll into naans.
  • Cook on a non-stick tawa by greasing the naans with butter.
