Locals loot fish in Telangana after a truck carrying fish overturns
Following the Bihar incident that happened just a few days ago, where people looted fish from a large fish tank, a similar case happened in Maripeda of Mehboobabad district of Telangana on Tuesday morning when a mini truck loaded with live fish overturned. As soon as the truck overturned, the entire load of fish was scattered on the road, due to which there was chaos in the area. According to eyewitnesses, the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle, due to which this accident happened.
As soon as the local residents got the news of the fish being scattered on the road, they started reaching the spot. Seeing the fish, people immediately started collecting them with buckets and containers. People were picking up as many fish as they could according to their capacity. Due to the incident, there was also a blockage in traffic for some time. Because the vehicles had slowed down due to the fish on the road.
Eyewitnesses who reached the spot said that this scene was no less than a film scene. People were competing to collect the fish as quickly as possible. After the administration got the information, they tried to handle the situation, and soon the work of removing the fish from the road started. After some time, the traffic was restored.
Although there is no news of anyone being injured in this accident, the mini truck has suffered a lot of damage. The truck driver and the fish owner have suffered heavy losses due to the scattering of fish. At present, the causes of the accident are being investigated. According to initial information, it appears that the driver lost control of the vehicle at high speed, due to which the truck overturned.
After this incident, videos and pictures are also going viral on social media, in which local people are seen collecting fish. People are making various comments about this incident, in which some people are describing it as a scene like rain of fish.
