Heaviest strawberry in the world!

If you are someone who loves strawberries, then this piece of information will surely make you smile. Till date, we have talked about the world's biggest pumpkin, watermelon, and many other fruits and vegetables. And today, we will talk about the world's biggest strawberry, which has just made it to the Guinness World Records (GWR). Ariel Chahi from Kadima-Zoran, Israel, has grown the biggest strawberry weighing 289 grams, and as per GWR, it is the world's heaviest strawberry too. Read below more about it. (Image: GWR)

About the strawberry

As per the official GWR website, this strawberry is of the Ilan variety and was grown by Ariel's family business "Strawberries in the Field". As per the video shared by the GWR official Instagram page, he first weighed an iPhone XR which weighed 194 gms, and then the strawberry which weighed 289 gms. He then took a measuring tape to measure the length, breadth, and circumference of the strawberry and it was 18 cm long, 4 cm thick, and 34 cm in circumference. In just 12 hours, the reel video has garnered 839k views, 72.6k likes and around 700 comments. (Image: GWR)
