Tips to make Kolhapuri Egg Curry

If you love eggs, then this Kolhapuri Egg Curry is a nutrient-rich main course dish that you need to try. It goes well with both roti and rice and is filled with the goodness of spices and freshly grated coconut too. Tap next to read the simplest recipe.

Ingredients


7 boiled eggs, 2 tbsp coconut, 1 tsp ginger, 4 garlic, 2 onions, 4 cloves, 10 black pepper, 1 tomato, 4 dried red chillies, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp poppy seeds, 4 tbsp oil, and salt to taste

Heat oil in a pan and in the meantime, slice ginger, garlic, and onions.

To this, add cloves, black pepper, onion, ginger, garlic, and tomatoes.

Next, add red chillies, turmeric, poppy seeds, and coconut. Saute for 10 minutes. Let it cool down and the blend into a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a pan and saute boiled eggs until they get slightly brown.

In the leftover oil, add the masala paste and 1/2 cup water. Mix well. and bring it to a boil.

Add the eggs and salt to taste. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
