How to make it at home?

To make this cake, you would require 1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 bananas), 3 tbsp yoghurt or homemade dahi, 1/2 cup oil, 3/4 cup castor sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 + ½ cup maida, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, /2 tsp cinnamon powder, 1/4 cup chocolate chips, 1/4 cup crushed walnuts.

All you need to do is, add all the ingredients in a microwave bowl and whisk well. Microwave the cake batter for 6 minutes and the cake will be ready in no time. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream or as it is. This amazing eggless banana cake recipe will make everyone asking more of it. Here are some simple tips that you can use to make that perfect banana cake. Take a look.

4/8

Use ripe bananas

The first and foremost tip is to use ripe bananas. If they are not ripe, one can ripen them by baking the bananas at 150 degrees C in the oven until their peel turns blackish. It will bubble but no need to worry about it as the bananas release their water. Just make sure that the baked bananas are cool enough to handle, else you will end up burning your hands.

5/8

Using sour curd

While making this eggless cake, you would need that perfect ingredient to make the cake moist which is done by egg mostly. Thus, one must use homemade curd that’s sour in taste as that acts as the perfect acidic medium to create the moist cake.

6/8

Use flavourless oil

While baking, make sure that the oil is flavourless like sunflower oil, peanut oil or even vegetable oil. Any flavoured oil will add its own flavour to the cake.

7/8

Using healthy flours

To make the cake healthier, instead of using refined flour, make sure you use wholewheat flour, almond flour, coconut flour, oat flour, or even quinoa flour. When such flours are added to the cake batter, you will realise that the taste of the banana cake is also enhanced.

Conclusion

What kind of flour you would like to add to this easy cake recipe, we leave this choice on you. Do try this amazing cake recipe and let us know what variations you made to the recipe to make it healthy and delicious.
