Heat-proof and how! This Jabalpur man fries pakoras by dipping bare hands in hot oil

When it comes to innovation in and around the food world, the internet is the best place to witness such instances. And the most recent one that left us awestruck is a Jabalpur-based pakoda seller who dips hand in hot oil to fry pakodas. Yes, you read it right! Scroll below to know more about this pakoda seller.

In a video uploaded by @India_eat_mania, one can see a man frying moong dal pakodas (Mungode) in a big kadhai. Firstly, he takes the pakoda batter and starts dropping the pakoda balls in it. Once all the pakodas are in the hot oil, he performs a small prayer and then he dips his hand in it and stirs the pakodas to cook them. As per the video, it’s his family business, which was started by his father 46 years back and after his father’s demise, he took over the charge, and at present he sells these pakodas for only Rs. 15. According to the seller, it's the blessing of his 'Guruji'. Watch the video here:


In no time, the video went viral and has garnered 2.7 million views, has 203K likes, and 467 comments. The viral video left netizens amazed and they started pouring in appreciation comments.
